JOB DESCRIPTION
Due to continued business growth we are now looking to recruit experienced free hand rail fabricators.
ROLE
On a day to day basis you will be responsible for the following:
- Welding and fabricating stairlift products from technical drawings using free build, MIG & TIG weld and fabrication methods of assembly;
- Working to standardised methods and to the company’s tolerances and guidelines;
- Working safely at all times following work instructions and maintaining a clean working environment;
- Embracing our ‘Zero Harm’ approach to safety;
- Working efficiently to produce high quality product;
- Contributing to our Continuous Improvement approach and actively helping to reduce waste in our processes;
- Undertake other duties if necessary, i.e. operating laser cutting or bending machines where required (training will be provided).
REQUIREMENTS
You will have:
- Candidates must be positive and enthusiastic and support a ‘can do’ attitude;
- Candidate should have a Welding Fabricator Certificate and/or at least 5 years experience;
- Candidates must be reliable and support a continuous improvement culture
- Willingness to learn and embrace new ideas;
- Ability to work as part of a team and be self-motivated;
- Able to use electric hand tools, grinders;
- Able to read and understand drawings;
- Have a good understanding of Health and Safety and can maintenance of a safe and clean working environment.
