JOB DESCRIPTION
Working as part of our Technical Services team, you will be required to attend
installs/service calls across the UK providing installation, testing, maintenance, and repair services of both our curved and straight stairlift products into clients’ homes, care homes and sheltered housing settings.
UK-based, the core hours are 40 hours per week working Monday to Friday, due to the nature of the role there will be some overnights required, plus some early starts and late finishes dependent on the location of jobs.
A competitive salary and remuneration package is on offer including 24 days holiday + 8 bank holidays. In-house training and technical team support is available.
REQUIREMENTS
- Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Engineering Maintenance and Installation or previous
relevant experience - Full clean driving licence
- Precision, attention to detail and ability to work autonomously
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to problem solve
- Excellent customer service skills with a compassionate nature and the ability to demonstrate and explain stairlift mechanics to clients
- Polite and well-presented in this customer-facing role
- Previous experience of stairlift installation, service and maintenance is desirable
- Knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical engineering is desirable
