JOB DESCRIPTION
Due to expansion, we are recruiting a Technical Support Advisor to provide the first line technical support to our trade partners and internal stakeholders.
This is a full-time permanent role based at our Cottingley office, the remuneration package offers a competitive salary plus benefits.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Telephone & email technical support to trade customers relating to pre and post-sale
queries & troubleshooting - Support tech calls from internal/external engineers
- Assessing and identifying the need for a site visit
- Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education to sales/trade
customers - Participation in product training and keeping up to date with product development
- Working closely with and supporting the sales team and other technical experts as
internal stakeholders. - Assisting the SOM to drive the order process from receipt to approval
- Responsibility for achieving customer support/ response/ resolution time targets
- Ongoing development of product/industry knowledge in competitors
QUALIFICATIONS
You will have:
- Excellent, confident, telephone manner and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Organisational and prioritisation skills
- Computer literate, experience of Microsoft Office/Excel (basic), CRM systems
- Team player
- Technically minded with the ability to retain technical knowledge
- Positive, can-do attitude, analytical thinker
- Ability to give clear concise instruction
- People skills and ability to manage customer expectations
- Use of Microsoft office/excel(basic), CRM systems
- Patience and appreciation of customer on-site experience
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to change. Ability to work independently and as part of a
team - Foreign language skills are an advantage
