JOB DESCRIPTION

Due to expansion, we are recruiting  a Technical Support Advisor to provide the first line technical support to our trade partners and internal stakeholders.

This is a full-time permanent role based at our Cottingley office, the remuneration package offers a competitive salary plus benefits. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Telephone & email technical support to trade customers relating to pre and post-sale
    queries & troubleshooting
  • Support tech calls from internal/external engineers
  • Assessing and identifying the need for a site visit
  • Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education to sales/trade
    customers
  • Participation in product training and keeping up to date with product development
  • Working closely with and supporting the sales team and other technical experts as
    internal stakeholders.
  • Assisting the SOM to drive the order process from receipt to approval
  • Responsibility for achieving customer support/ response/ resolution time targets
  • Ongoing development of product/industry knowledge in competitors

QUALIFICATIONS

You will have:

  • Excellent, confident, telephone manner and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Computer literate, experience of Microsoft Office/Excel (basic), CRM systems
  • Team player
  • Technically minded with the ability to retain technical knowledge
  • Positive, can-do attitude, analytical thinker
  • Ability to give clear concise instruction
  • People skills and ability to manage customer expectations
  • Use of Microsoft office/excel(basic), CRM systems
  • Patience and appreciation of customer on-site experience
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to change. Ability to work independently and as part of a
    team
  • Foreign language skills are an advantage
